Both of yours are on my list of top quotes, Workman. Wow, it's hard to pick only one. How about: "Humor is the divine antidote for exaltation of ego." That's the only one I have actually memorized. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Hi Amadon,
My all time favorite quote is:

" The Evolving Soul Is Not Made Divine By What It Does, But By What It Strives To Do."

OK, here's another from my list: "P.1002 - §1 But real praying does attain reality. Even when the air currents are ascending, no bird can soar except by outstretched wings. Prayer elevates man because it is a technique of progressing by the utilization of the ascending spiritual currents of the universe." Do you find this valuable?

Another one that I like:
"Page 1219-

In so far as man's evolving morontia soul becomes permeated by truth, beauty, and goodness as the value-realization of God-consciousness, such a resultant being becomes indestructible. If there is no survival of eternal values in the evolving soul of man, then mortal existence is without meaning, and life itself is a tragic illusion. But it is forever true: What you begin in time you will assuredly finish in eternity--if it is worth finishing."

Wow, that's a real gem. Sort of sums up the Urantia Book. I'll definitely add it to my list.

Here's another from my list: "P.1638 - §4 3. The Father in heaven has forgiven you even before you have thought to ask him, but such forgiveness is not available in your personal religious experience until such a time as you forgive your fellow men. God's forgiveness in fact is not conditioned upon your forgiving your fellows, but in experience it is exactly so conditioned. And this fact of the synchrony of divine and human forgiveness was thus recognized and linked together in the prayer which Jesus taught the apostles."
